General

  • Custom Built Computers Ltd is also referred to as CBC in the below conditions.
  • All prices exclude New Zealand Goods and Service Tax (unless specified), and shipping cost.
  • All items are subject to availability
  • Errors and ommissions are expected.
  • Product images are for illustrative purposes only, the actual product may vary.
  • CBC reserves the right to change the price of items at any time without notice.

Payment Terms

  • All items remain property of CBC until full payment has been made.
  • Credit Cards are not excepted at present.  Currently only cash or business cheques are accepted.
  • If payment is not made in full by due date, we are entitled to charge you interest on the unpaid overdue amount at the rate of 5% per annum.
  • We may charge you costs (including collection costs and legal costs on a solicitor-client basis) and suspend delivery of further products until the account has been paid in full.

Hardware Warranty Service

  • Computer systems built by CBC must be left in original form and not tampered with in any way to be covered under the 1 year parts and labour warranty.  Tampering and removing of labels or any other unauthorised use will void warranty.
  • If hardware is deemed faulty and requires replacement, CBC reserves the right to retain such hardware.
  • Out of warranty repair costs are the sole responsibility of the end user.
  • End User is responsible for all data and information stored on the system.
  • End User is responsible for backing up personal documents and data if the system is to be rebuilt or recovered to a working original state.
  • Physical damage by the customer will void warranty.
  • 3rd party software is not the responsibility of CBC
